RNAQ Foundation to Launch New Scholarship to Support Brilliant KNUST Students

The Founder of RNAQ Holdings, Quick Angels, and Bills Micro-Credit, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, delivered an inspiring message to the graduating class of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KNUST, placing strong emphasis on opportunity creation, courage, and a new scholarship initiative designed to support KNUST students.

Speaking to university leadership, faculty, families, and graduates, he described the moment as a privilege and reflected on the importance of young people choosing to create, build, and lead. He noted that nations develop when their young minds decide to take action rather than wait for perfect conditions.

Sharing his own journey, Mr. Quaye recounted how he began without wealth or privilege but relied on hunger to learn, persistence in failure, and the discipline that shaped his path as one of Ghana’s leading entrepreneurs. This personal story underscored his message that success does not require coming from wealth but demands structure, consistency, and the right environment.

He explained that his motivation for founding Quick Angels and later RNAQ Holdings came from observing how many talented entrepreneurs in Ghana lacked one essential ingredient: belief backed by investment. Through structured support, accountability systems, and long-term commitment, his companies have built businesses that now employ thousands across the country. With a new 300 million Ghana cedis investment fund, he noted that even more businesses will soon receive the support they need to grow and scale.

While his speech touched on entrepreneurship and leadership, a central highlight was his announcement of a new scholarship for KNUST students. Through the RNAQ Foundation, an annual scholarship will be established to support academically gifted but financially challenged students. He stressed that education should never be restricted by a student's financial situation and affirmed his commitment to ensuring that brilliant minds are not denied opportunities.

Mr. Quaye further revealed that discussions are underway with the university’s leadership to explore additional forms of collaboration between the institution and the RNAQ Foundation. The aim, he said, is to strengthen the link between academia and industry while ensuring students have the support they need to excel.

He encouraged graduates to build skills before pursuing success, to start even when conditions are not perfect, and to create systems that sustain their ideas. He urged them to choose courage over comfort, reminding them that Ghana needs builders, thinkers, creators, and leaders.

Mr. Quaye concluded with a message of confidence in the new graduates, expressing his belief that they will rise to meet the challenges ahead and build a future that endures.
