The Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology (KNUST) has announced the release of undergraduate admission forms for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic year. This announcement serves to inform prospective applicants and the general public about the availability of admission forms for various degrees and top-up programs offered at the university.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Whether you're a student with existing examination results or will be sitting for the WASSCE in July/August 2024, you're eligible to apply. Here's a breakdown of eligibility criteria for Ghanaian applicants:
1. WASSCE/SSCE: Applicants must have credit passes (A1-C6/A-D respectively) in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science, along with three elective subjects, achieving an aggregate score of 24 or better in the relevant area of study.
2. GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE): Candidates must possess passes in three compulsory subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, and passes in any three elective subjects.
3. ADVANCED LEVEL: Applicants should have credits in at least five subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, plus at least three passes in relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
4. ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (ABCE): Candidates with relevant qualifications are eligible for admission.
5. MATURE STUDENTS: Individuals aged 25 or above, with credits in five GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics, are eligible. They must also pass an entrance examination and/or interview.
For foreign applicants and those with equivalent qualifications, additional requirements may apply, including providing an English Proficiency Certificate for applicants from French-speaking countries.

HOW TO OBTAIN KNUST E-VOUCHER
To kickstart your application process, you'll need a KNUST e-voucher, which can be obtained from any Ghana Post Office or purchased using the USSD Code *885#. The e-voucher costs GH₵ 250.00 for Ghanaian applicants and USD 150.00 for foreign applicants.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants must complete the online application along with relevant documents. Foreign applicants should follow specific instructions provided on the university's admission portal.
DEADLINES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All applications, whether domestic or foreign, must not be submitted online before October 31, 2024. The closing date for all Mature and All Top-Up programmes is 31st July 2024.
It's crucial to adhere to all application guidelines to ensure your application is processed efficiently. Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applicants Should Take Note Of The Following
- All prospective applicants are advised to visit the University’s Website and carefully read all relevant information before applying. Applicants are required to visit the Admission Portal to complete their application process online. They are to use the Login and Pin Number provided on the E-Voucher for this purpose. Failure to do so renders the application invalid.
- Applicants must scan and attach all relevant and mandatory documents to the online application as follows: Birth Certificate/ECOWAS ID card/ WASSCE/SSSCE certificate/results slips, if available/or any academic/professional certificates/results slip.
- After the application has been submitted online, applicants are advised to print out a copy for their own use/reference.
- Applicants SHOULD NOT submit a hard copy of the application to the University.
- Only results and/or documents provided by applicants at the time of submission of application shall be considered.
- An applicant’s failure to input Examination Details (i.e. index number, year of exams and exam type) and/or other relevant information properly online shall deny the applicant admission to a programme of study at the University.
- Admissions to all programmes of study at the University are transparently administered by the Central Undergraduate Admissions Committee without any other considerations and/or solicitations.
- Any applicant who makes any form of solicitation to any person or group of persons to influence and/or gain admission into the University does so at his/her own risk.
- Applicants are to note that upon release of the WAEC results, the admission portal would be open for one (1) week for applicants to make any amendments to their Names, Index Numbers, Year of Exam, Type of Exams, and Choice of Programmes etc.
- For applicants for Top-up and other mature programmes:
- Any application that is not fully and/or properly completed at the time of submission shall not be processed and/or considered.
- Applicants for the Pharm D programme Top-Up must be Practicing Pharmacists with Three (3) Years Post registration experience.
- All Top-Up Programmes are Fee-Paying Only.
