Reports suggest that level 100 Chinese students at Legon University have been accused of stealing a lecturer's laptop. The incident supposedly occurred when the lecturer, Mrs. Huang Lijiang, briefly left the podium to assist a student during a lecture.

In a statement issued by the President of the Chinese Students Association of Ghana, he expressed deep regret and disappointment regarding the unfortunate incident. According to the statement, the theft took place after the Level 100's Elementary Chinese Grammar 1 class at JQB19 around 9:15 AM.

The information received indicates that Mrs. Huang Lijiang's laptop was stolen as she placed it on the table to attend to students with questions and clarifications after the class. The laptop, a Lenovo Yoga Ideapad, is grey and kept in a grey bag. Its loss is not only a personal setback for the lecturer but also impacts the quality of education for all students, given that her slides, examination questions, and other crucial documents are stored on it.
The Chinese Students Association of Ghana is taking immediate steps to investigate the matter and enhance security measures. They are seeking the cooperation and assistance of the student body in identifying any suspicious activity during the period of the incident.
