The MTN Bright Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the MTN Ghana Foundation aimed at supporting academically talented but financially disadvantaged students. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing degree programs in public tertiary institutions as well as vocational and technical courses in Ghana.
This fully funded scholarship covers tuition and accommodation fees, provides a laptop computer, and offers a stipend for reading materials. The goal is to ease the financial burden on students and allow them to focus entirely on their academic pursuits.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Must be a Ghanaian citizen.
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized public tertiary institution or a vocational/technical program.
- Alternatively, must be a professional teacher pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Must have an excellent academic record.
- Must demonstrate good behavior and discipline.

Application Procedure
For Degree Students
- Apply online through the official web portal at scholarship.mtn.com.gh and select the Bright Scholarship option.
- Submit a one-page letter outlining educational and professional goals and explaining why they deserve the scholarship.
- Provide valid contact details, including a phone number and email address.

For Teachers
- Apply online via scholarship.mtn.com.gh and select the Bright Scholarship option.
- Submit a one-page letter explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship, including contributions made in the ICT/STEM field and expected outcomes from the training.
- Include a curriculum vitae (CV) and a letter of recommendation from the school where they teach.
- Provide valid contact details, including a phone number and email address.
General Guidelines
Applicants already benefiting from another scholarship are not eligible. Preference is given to students pursuing degrees in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics. Women and differently-abled students are especially encouraged to apply.
