The Kufuor Scholars Program (KSP) is an initiative established by the John A. Kufuor Foundation, an independent, non-partisan institution with a focus on development. This program is designed for Level 100 students at Ghanaian universities and offers a specialized three-year leadership development experience for young Africans. The KSP's primary goal is to complement formal education and shape leaders who exhibit strong patriotism, innovation, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and in-depth knowledge in their chosen fields.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Kufuor Scholar Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
<> Be a Ghanaian citizen.
<> Have completed Level 100 and be transitioning to Level 200 at a Ghanaian university, irrespective of their chosen academic discipline.
<> Possess a track record of demonstrated leadership interests and experiences, whether in school, community, or at the national level.
<> Exhibit leadership qualities, a dedication to service, and unwavering integrity.
<> Showcase a commitment to fostering nationalistic ideals and the ability to promote political and religious tolerance, human rights, and ethnic coexistence for the betterment of the nation.
<> Be under 23 years old at the time of application.
Nature of the Award:
Over three years, Kufuor Scholars will have access to an array of resources and opportunities, including leadership mentoring, camps, excursions, seminars, webinars, practical leadership internships, and the implementation of personal projects. They will also receive branded materials and a stipend of GH¢500 per semester. Additionally, Kufuor Scholars may have the chance to participate in International Exchange Programs.
