UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES (UHAS) UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR OPENED

It is announced for the information of prospective Applicants and the general public that E-vouchers for application forms for programs for the 2023/2024 Academic Year have begun.

As a premier institution for health research and education, the University of Health and Allied Sciences is deeply committed to community service. It receives numerous applications from aspiring students across Africa every year. To provide access to a wider pool of candidates, the university offers Access and Sandwich programs for health professionals holding Certificates and Diplomas, allowing them to enroll in available degree programs.

Prospective applicants are advised to carefully review the ENTRY REQUIREMENTS before submitting their applications and are required to utilize the UHAS online admission portal for the application process.

FOR GHANAIAN APPLICANTS

1. Purchase the E-voucher at any of these banks for ₵220.00

APPLICATION PROCESS

In completing the online form, applicants will be required to upload their passport-size photograph (not more than 400KB) with a white background.
Upon completing the APPLICATION PROCESS, print three (3) copies of the PREVIEW PAGE (i.e. application summary), then submit it online.
Applicants are advised to check thoroughly all details entered before they finally submit their online applications. A form, once submitted cannot be edited.
Upon printing the application summary; Access, Sandwich, or equivalent applicants should attach 2 copies of each result slip; Access Course / Sandwich / MPhil /MPH / Ph.D. applicants should attach their transcripts and certificates.
Applicants should purchase UHAS EMS envelopes (one big size envelope and one quarto size self-address envelope) from the nearest Ghana Post office.
The application documents and the result slips in addition to the quarto-size self-addressed envelope should be put in the big UHAS EMS envelope and submitted at the nearest Ghana Post office.

2. FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

International Applicants for the 2022/2023 Academic Year admissions are required to read the ENTRY REQUIREMENTS carefully before proceeding to apply and they must use the UHAS online admission portal to apply.

International applicants are advised to contact the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission in Accra, Ghana for a detailed interpretation of their results. All foreign certificates must receive authentication and equivalencies from Ghana Tertiary Education Commission.
All certificates in other languages must be translated into English.
Upon admission, International applicants should note that by the Laws of Ghana, they are expected to obtain a Non-Citizen Ghana card before they can be enrolled in courses offered at the University. Therefore, after being offered admission, all International applicants should contact the Office of International Programmes for assistance on how to obtain a Ghana card.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Access the online form by visiting the Online Admission Portal and clicking on Click to apply as a Foreign Student.
An activation code will be sent to your mobile number and email address.
Go to Form Type and select Foreign Student. Use the activation code to access the application form.
Applicants will be required to upload a passport-size photograph (not more than 400KB) with a white background.
After filling out the online form, print out three copies of the preview page (application summary). Then submit it online.
Scan the application summary, your pay-in slip, and certificates/results slips into one PDF or WORD document and send it as an attachment to admissions@uhas.edu.gh
International Applicants should note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the application fee.

NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS

a. The intended admission Picture must be taken on a white background with both ears showing and without shadow in the background.

b. For religious purposes, scarves are allowed but both ears must be exposed in the picture.

c. Wearing of glasses/shades are not allowed, except for medical purpose, clear glasses revealing the eyes are permitted.

d. The Picture should have dimensions of 300 x 360 pixels (1 x 1.2 inches), a resolution of 300, JPa EG file format, and a size of not more than 400 kilobytes.

Applicants are hereby informed that the passport pictures will be used for all documentation related to the school. Applicants are therefore advised to take quality photos of the requirements.
