Mr. Joseph Amankwah Adjei a 4th-year student of the Department of Statistics and other 21/22 SRC executives of KNUST have allegedly extorted GH¢ 100,000.00 from students.
They formed a syndicate to extort sums of money from students under the pretence of securing their accommodation at the Osei Tutu II hostel (SRC hostel).
He is popularly known as Continental Rock.
The university authorities have set up a committee to investigate the matter.
