Tragic News hits UCC as a female student was stabbed to death by unknown armed robbers in her room. It is rather unfortunate that this is becoming a yearly occurring incident.
According to reports, these anonymous robbers knocked on the door of the student, and when she opened the door she was stabbed to death. They made away with her laptop and other valuable items.
On 14th May 2022, one student, Nana Ama Clark, a level 300 Marketing Student was gruesomely murdered with her genitals removed, and on 30th April 2004 Michael Opare Bekoe, a 20-year-old first-year student of the University of Cape Coast, who was suspected to have murdered a female student.
Although the SRC President says the circulating video is false, students are lamenting about their safety on campus.
