UNIVERSITIES IN GHANA THAT ACCEPT D7

Applicants of certain universities often face frustration when informed that those institutions do not admit students with D7 grades. This obstacle could be linked to a specific subject, leading to understandable frustration.

Government-funded universities like KNUST, UMAT, and UG, among others, do not accept D7 grades, yet other universities may consider these grades for admission. If you possess a D7, you can still gain admission to a Ghanaian university by agreeing to re-take the relevant subject through Nov/Dec.

Certain institutions offer pre-programs to help candidates study and sit for NOVDEC before enrolling. GIMPA, for example, provides these programs for both younger candidates aiming to qualify for full degree programs and mature students (above 25 years) seeking admission. Successful completion of the Nov/Dec exams can lead to university enrollment.
