The Ghana Education Service (GES) has ushered in a groundbreaking initiative – the first-ever harmonized prospectus for senior high and technical schools across the nation.
Termed the 'National Prospectus,' this comprehensive guide is specifically crafted for prospective first-year students. Its primary aim is to eradicate any uncertainty regarding the requirements for incoming students. Under this innovative arrangement, all schools are mandated to strictly adhere to the national prospectus, refraining from imposing additional items beyond the officially prescribed list. Notably, parents will no longer need to delay shopping for their children until the rollout of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).

The prospectus strategically categorizes items for both Day and Boarding students. For Day students, the list is streamlined, and they are not required to submit any of the items to the school. On the other hand, Boarding students, considering the boarding house as their new home, are expected to procure a more extensive array of items. These items will play a pivotal role in maintaining the school's environment.
FOR DAY STUDENTS ONLY
Day students are tasked with providing two categories of items, as they will be commuting from home. These items include:
Category 1: Items Required
- Valid NHIS card
- National ID card (Ghana card if any)
- Two passport-size pictures
- Photocopy of birth certificate, baptismal cert if required by the school
Category 2: Personal Items
