GNPC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2023/2024

Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is offering limited Undergraduate scholarship, through the GNPC Foundation, to prospective Ghanaian students for the 2023/2024 academic year. The scholarship is for degree courses and are tenable at accredited public tertiary Institutions in Ghana. The scholarship covers Tuition, Living Expenses, Book Allowance and Dissertation/Project Allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens.

- Candidates must have secured admission to a postgraduate or undergraduate program at an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana.

- Teachers and lecturers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) at technical institutions are also eligible to apply.

- Nursing Training Colleges and Colleges of Education are not eligible for this scholarship.


Required Documents for Postgraduate Applicants

- Scanned copy of admission letter.

- Scanned copy of first-degree certificate.

- Scanned copy of other degree certificate (for PhD applicants).

- Scanned copy of transcript.

- Copy of Curriculum Vitae.

- Scanned copy of academic and occupational letters of recommendation (must be on letterhead).

- Scanned copy of National Service Certificate.

- Scanned copy of proof of nationality (bio-data page/National ID Card).

- Passport picture.


Required Documents for Undergraduate Applicants:

- Scanned copy of admission letter.

- Scanned copy of WAEC results or certificate.

- Scanned copy of testimonial from previous school.

- Proof of nationality (birth certificate/National ID Card).

- Passport picture.

- Academic transcripts for continuing students.

- Previous undergraduate certificate (for applicants pursuing another undergraduate program).


Important Notes:

- All applications must be submitted online through the GNPC Foundation website.

- Hard copies of applications will not be accepted.

- Applicants with disabilities must upload a medical certificate stating the level of seriousness of their disability.

- Individuals currently benefiting from other educational scholarships are not eligible to apply

- Accuracy of information provided is crucial, as misrepresentation will render the application null and void.

- Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.


Important Dates/Deadlines:

- Opening and closing dates of the portal for both postgraduates and undergraduates: 7th May - 31st May 2024.
