UTAG ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR AKOSOMBO DAM SPILLAGE-AFFECTED STUDENTS

In a bid to alleviate the impact of the Akosombo dam spillage on students, the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) is proud to unveil a scholarship fund. The official announcement, signed by Dr. I.K. Abdul-Hamid, UTAG's Administrative Secretary, marks a significant step towards aiding families affected by the spillage in 2023.

Qualified applicants include residents of the affected communities currently enrolled or continuing studies at any of Ghana's fifteen public universities. The application window opens from Monday, January 15, 2024, to Friday, January 26, 2024.
