KNUST BSC. TOP-UP PROGRAMMES ADMISSION 2023/2024: NURSING, MIDWIFERY, EMERGENCY NURSING & PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING

The School of Nursing and Midwifery at the College of Health Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, is inviting applications for admission into its Top-Up programs. The available programs include a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Emergency Nursing, Nursing, and Midwifery for both regular and sandwich sessions.

Entry Requirements:

For BSc. Emergency Nursing and BSc. Nursing:

- Holders of a Diploma in Nursing with a good pass and duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) or other recognized bodies.

- Must satisfy the University entry requirements with credit passes in six subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.

For BSc. Midwifery:

- Holders of the Diploma in Midwifery with a good pass and duly registered with the NMC or other recognized bodies.

- Must also meet the University entry requirements with credit passes in six subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.

For BSc. Public Health Nursing:

- Holders of the Diploma in Community Health Nursing/Public Health Nursing with a good pass and duly registered with the NMC or other recognized bodies.

- Must meet the University entry requirements with credit passes in six subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.

Mode of Application:

- Purchase an e-Voucher at designated Ghana Post Company Ltd offices for GHȼ250.00

- Alternatively, buy the e-Voucher through the USSD code *447*160# on all mobile networks.

- The e-voucher includes a Login ID or Application ID and PIN for the online admission portal.

- Visit the Admission Portal to apply online, attaching scanned copies of relevant documents.

- After submission, applicants are advised to print a copy for personal reference. Do not submit a hard copy to the University.

Application Deadline:

The application form submission deadline is 15th May 2024.
