The Volta River Authority (VRA) is extending a helping hand through its Community Development Programme (CDP) Scholarship Scheme. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, VRA is dedicated to supporting deserving students in its impacted communities for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Who Qualifies?
To be eligible for this scholarship, aspiring students should meet the following criteria:
1. Community Affiliation:
The student must be a native of the impacted community.
2. Educational Background
The student should have attended a Public Basic School in the impacted community.
3. Academic Achievement
The student must have obtained aggregates between 6-24 at both the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) levels.

4. Admission Status
He or she must have gained admission into a Public Tertiary Institution in the country as a regular non-fee paying student.
Scholarship Benefits:
The selected student stands to receive support at the Tertiary level, covering Hostel, Student Representative Council, and Academic user fees. Emphasis is placed on brilliance combined with financial need.

2. Complete the application form and gather additional relevant documents.
3. Submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents to the Community Relations Office in Akosombo.
